Before launching, Terra Nostra studied and tested the market for about six months. This development has continued through until the now, with Terra Nostra continuously learning about product sourcing, customer preferences and regulatory frameworks. Terra Nostra decided to launch with a focused menu offering customers a concise product range showcasing the most traditional and delicious selection of Sicilian dishes possible, based on ingredients available to them in Australia.
Terra Nostra are keen to see their product selection increase with more and more typical Sicilian dishes, but they are aware that they also need to increase their exposure to a larger Brisbane audience to make this possible. A challenge that they are now overcoming to move their business forward is streamlining operations to guarantee that larger volumes can be produced without loss of quality.
One day, Terra Nostra would like to run a food truck business to make their products more “mobile”. Following on from this they would also love to open restaurant locations in selected areas across Australia. But first and foremost, Terra Nostra’s dream is, and always will be, to create truly original Sicilian Street Food delicacies for the Australian market with locally farmed ingredients.
