Food has always been a passion for Phin Prak; and after 15 years of working in hospitality the time has now come for Phin to run his very own food business: Aburi Boi.
For Phin there was never going to be a ‘perfect’ time for him to start his food business but he is well underway since starting in June 2018. Surrounded by one of the most reliable teams assisting him during every Aburi Boi service, Phin has a great support network which is proving to be very useful.
Currently, Aburi Boi are finding that they not only need to organise their systems and operation process, but also need to build a strong customer base and maintain consistency with their food and service. Phin has found the transition into becoming a owner/chef to be difficult (as is the case with many new business owners). Let’s just say perhaps the art of multi-tasking is a must for Phin.
Aburi Boi’s dream is to expand organically whilst using Wandering Cooks as their first platform to the public. Markets, a food truck, and eventually a brick and mortar store accompanied by a kitchen garden, are the route to Phin’s ultimate goal. If their food keeps tasting the way it does, they’ll be there sooner rather than later.
