Kirsten Bradley and Nick Ritar from Milkwood are coming to Wandering Cooks thanks to Food Connect Brisbane and we want you to join in on the fun with us. From midday Sunday 23rd September, Kirsten and Nick will be taking the stage to launch their brand spanking new book ‘Milkwood – Real skills for down-to-earth living’ and talk shroom cultivation with you – they’ve highlighted it intensively in their new book.
Street parking is best found on Manning St & Cordelia St – there is no on-site parking as the parking spots are reserved for kitchen customers – sorry!
Milkwood is the name of Kirsten Bradley and Nick Ritar’s first farm as well as their school where anyone can learn skills for down-to-earth living. Kirsten, Nick and a team of educators offer courses on topics contained in this book as well as permaculture design, natural building and much more. Kirsten and Nick live on a small regenerative farm near Daylesford, where many things from the sprouted grain they feed their chickens to ingredients that make up dinner is homegrown.
