This Red Cow MeetUp cheese tasting will be a showcase of the ever growing range of legally allowed unpasteurised, raw milk cheeses from both Australia (yes, they are some!) and abroad (yes, there are plenty!).
Raw milk cheese is a natural source of probiotics and has not been pasteurised or heated, meaning the cheese retains the good bacteria necessary to break down the nutrients in milk and other foods that we eat. Probiotics have been shown to build a stronger immune system. But most importantly, raw milk cheese simply taste better than their pasteurised cousins.
Expect about 6 different raw milk cheeses mainly from the semi-hard and hard type categories.
Your ticket includes 2 glasses of wine (sparkling, red or white) and an option to upgrade to a bottle (see bar staff on the day for details). So bring your friends and make this a special night of cheese & wine at one of Brisbane’s top venues. (Alcohol free options are available too).
