Diana Small first started Peruvian Munchies in 2015 to share her love and passion for her country’s food and culture with Australian people. Diana began to learn that not many Australians knew what the heck Peruvian food or flavours embodied which is what has sparked a new found inspiration within her and her team.
Since serving food at Wandering Cooks to the public every Friday night from 5pm, Peruvian Munchies have found they’re becoming more professional and organised in their methods and execution of dishes. While the lessons are never few and far between, they’re also undergoing a teething phase with their menu due to their shifting clientele (people who have never tried Peruvian food before!).
With the dream to have a recognised and successful Peruvian restaurant chain so Diana and her team can show off Peruvian food in all it’s glory, a focus of continuing to support local growers and food makers to be able to sustain the business is important. Particularly with a spotlight on specialised items like Peruvian chillies and purple corn – anyone got any leads?!
Delicious Peruvian entrees, mains and desserts.
