Gareth Belton, otherwise known as one of Australia’s finest wine wizards features on our wine list whenever we can lay our hands on their tasty as heck juice. The low intervention method is well and truly alive when it comes to @gentlefolkwine – “We don’t like to define our styles or wine making techniques, we just make wine in the way we feel is right for the grapes and season and most importantly, with maximum drinkability and enjoyment in mind.”
A number of their wines like the Positive Vibrations – a 90% pinot noir from their Scary Gully Vineyard also includes 10% Gewurztraminer which was macerated for one month on skins it best sipped (or chugged) slightly chilled, perfect for these steamy, muggy days we’re currently having in Brisbane.
Pouring by the glass now so come along and open your throats while we’ve still got it.
