Stone & Wood Brewing have been spreading the word about us here at Wandering Cooks and they’ve planned a rad road trip for a couple of their friends to come up to Brisbane for a night. Co-Owner of Salumi Australia, Michael Dlask and Executive Chef from Harvest Cafe, Bret Cameron will be travelling up for our Meet the Maker on the 1st June.
We’ll be hearing how the boys are highly active in sourcing ethical products from within the Northern Rivers Food region and how they are creating awareness of what sourcing locally means to them. Stone & Wood will be there to share their story and make you feel welcome by putting a beer in your hand and sending you a cheeky smile or two.
Michael and Bret have collaborated on a dinner for the night, purchase a ticket (a schooner of beer will be included) to let us know you are coming and we can let them know numbers for the night. We’d hate for you to miss out! The dinner menu for the night is:
Smoked trout Rillete – $10
Chicken Liver Patè – $12
Hot Dog Slider with Smoked Chorizo, Chimichurri sauce and wild rocket – $10
3 Salumi & Pickled Vegetables – $12
