Food inspired by the incredible freshness of Mexico, Marina Jimenez and her family bring you enchiladas, tacos and homemade pickles every Wednesday night. The authenticity Marina brings to her food is the thing we love most about Wednesday nights. It’s literally like taking a journey on the plate. Flavours of Mexico is only enhanced by the local, organic ingredients she uses – did we mention she makes her own tortillas!
From midday every Wednesday, The Deli is open for business.
The Deli is a curation of Wandering Cooks’ dreams for Brisbane- of a city full to the brim with loving producers, creating products that derive their heart from loving farmers. Some of the selections we have made come direct from this city’s producers, and some from slightly further afield. How far afield depends on how far we’ve had to reach to find a perfect example of what we dream of.
All food makers who serve meals in our warehouse are active members of The Wandering Cooks Charter. This means they’ve made a commitment to a more ethical, sustainable food future for Brisbane by challenging themselves to source their ingredients carefully and close the loop between soil and food.
